The SLZ is a directory of online learning materials that will enable you to become a power user of academic information resources.
Many of the resources are video presentations with animation to enliven your learning process. The Self Learning Zone in the Atrium has PCs with headphones to playback the audio.
Through the SLZ you will gain skills in
SmartSearch (the Library's new search tool)
Information Literacy (the skills that enable you to produce quality assignments)
Electronic resources, such as databases
If you need assistance in accessing any of the resources found on Self Learning Zone, do not hesitate to approach the Reference Librarian on Level 5 (Loans desk).
